Hobs

A hob has to match your fuel supply, worktop cut-out and the way you cook. Browse brand new gas, ceramic and induction hobs from Hotpoint, Whirlpool and Indesit, with common UK widths from around 60cm upward.

Induction heats the pan quickly and stays relatively cool on the surface, but needs compatible cookware. Ceramic keeps a smooth glass look and works with most pans. Gas gives instant visual control if you have a supply and Gas Safe installation. Count the zones you use at once, and check control layout if you cook with children nearby.

Measure the cut-out carefully and check clearance to any cooker hood before you buy, then use each product page for power ratings and finishing details.

Frequently asked questions

Sizing, energy labels, installation options and returns for this category.

How do I choose the right hob?

Choose induction, electric or gas to suit your cookware and supply. Compare zone layout, width and controls on the product page. Browse Hotpoint, Indesit and Whirlpool collections to compare models.

How do I check sizing and fit?

Check the cut-out size in your worktop against the product dimensions, and confirm clearance to walls and extractor hoods. Induction needs compatible pans.

What should I know about energy labels?

Where an energy label applies, it appears on the product page. Induction hobs are generally efficient because heat goes into the pan rather than the worktop air around it.

Do you offer installation and disposal?

Installation and old appliance disposal can be added as options at checkout where available for your address and product type. Check the checkout options before you pay.

What is your returns policy?

Returns are easy within the legal 14-day cancellation period. Full details are on our refund policy.
